Favorite Supplements

I am just curious to see what are everyone's favorite supplements of the past and present.  I am planning on doing a post about supplements, but I would like to get an idea for what my readers use for their supplement usage.  So please share what your favorite supplements are by commenting to this post!

  1. OxyELitePro, dietary supplament. I tried this for a little while. I really liked it at first, I lost about 10 pounds in two weeks. My heart was always racing, due to the high amount of caffine in it. So, I decided to stop taking it. But, it definently helped me lose weight quickly and it also satisfied my appetite.

    1. Though I have never tried it, from the effects that you mentioned, it seems like OxyElitePro is highly stimulant filled, thus causing the nervousness and racing heart. I am assuming there is more caffeine in the supplement than a typical cup of coffee, which can cause an increase in metabolism and energy at a greater pace - which can contribute to the rapid weight loss. However, after getting off of a supplement like this due to its "jittery" effects, it caused the metabolism to readjust back to its normal rate - making one more susceptible to regaining the weight UNLESS better habits are instilled. The better the habits are with regards to diet and exercise, the less reliance one needs on supplements in general. Thank you for the question.

    2. Hello, I am currently taking D4 Thermal Shock. Two pills at two times per day.
I honestly cannot tell if it is working and I have been on it for 3 weeks.
Also, what have you heard about Animal Pak?
I work out in the morning and need something to wake me up and get me pumped up, what do you recommend?

      Thx

  2. Amino energy, Gold standard whey protein, pro-5 protein, lean green green tea extract, ripped fuel, c4, n.o explode, and I've tried a lot more but those are most of the supplements I've exclusively used. Kind of getting sick of the amino energy... Thinking about switching it up.., any suggestions?

    1. Of the supplements you have listed, I have tried N.O. explode, C4, the gold standard whey, and amino energy. Let me offer you this suggestion for the time being. What I have currently done is take a complete hiatus from supplements...that's right. I currently do not take supplements - not even whey protein or amino acids post workout! After doing this change, it was difficult the first couple days because my body was in a slight withdrawal mode, probably from the lack of caffeine I was missing from my lack of supplement usage. However, after my body seemed to rid those cravings, I noticed I felt healthier, and even got stronger WHILE getting leaner. I have actually cut down body fat while improving not only my bench press, but also my 1 rep max and 5 rep max in squat, my vertical jump, and also my 10 yard dash. I rarely ever get sore and I train up to 12 times per week! Taking time off of supplements caused me to be even stricter with my diet, including my preworkout, and postworkout nutrition. My improved diet is what has caused me to not only have more energy throughout the day, but also more strength and better performance with my workouts. Give it a try. Let me know if you need help organizing your diet!

  3. Do you have any knowledge in the pro hormone area? I'm thinking about getting on one and I'm having trouble figuring out which one to get as well as the right pct... If I even need one at all. Any suggestions with that?

  4. I am currently supplementing with Fish Oil, Amino Acids, Whey Protein, and Creatine. With Creatine I do about an 8week cycle about twice a year. But with these four supplements I have noticed significant strength gains, all the while maintaining a very healthy and complete diet. I always make sure I get enough carbs pre and post workout. I would have to say that the healthy diet more than anything has been what's been helping me the most with my training.
